GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design is a process that appeals to the perfectionist in me - I am able to employ geometric lines and shapes and edit color and text without having to wait two days for paint to dry. I especially love playing with ideas of symmetry and asymmetry, and graphic design allows me to adjust compositions until I can find the balance between these two combatting forces.

PAINTING
Most of my compositions start as a figment of my subconsious mind. I then try to incorporate color and shape to convey emotion. I am particularly inspired as of late by human interactions - it fascinates me that after all these years of human existence, we still treat each other in marvelous, peculiar, and in many times awful ways. People largely inspire my work (and that has been both a good and a bad thing).
